About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Water Resources Project Manager to join our team in Miami, Florida. As a key member of our dynamic and multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing municipal water/wastewater projects, including pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, collection and conveyance systems, and rehabilitation, stormwater, and water resources projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership to the South Florida Water business line in collaboration with other local business line leaders.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to nurture and grow existing clients and develop new clients and sub-consultants.
  • Manage advanced projects to support key clients and enhance our positioning locally.
  • Set clients at the center of all we do, helping them be "Future Ready" through sustainable planning and design.
  • Deploy our unique expertise and perspective to create new value for clients and provide civic and industry leadership in South Florida.
  • Manage client coordination and cross-selling efforts across all business lines locally.
  • Attract the best industry talent by fostering a work environment that is collaborative, values inclusion and diversity, and invites broad, creative thinking.
  • Emphasize employee training and development to create a unique work experience.
  • Support programs such as Safety, Sustainability, and Ethics & Compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Water Resources or a closely related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in water resources engineering.
  • Professional License.
  • Strong business development with connections to local agencies and municipalities in Florida.
  • Experience with change management.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
