Job Summary

Huntington Hospital is seeking a motivated and dedicated Nursing Student Intern to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Nursing Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and compassionate healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide limited technical nursing care and clerical support services for assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assist with patient care activities, such as vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Current enrollment in an accredited AA, BSN, or MSN registered nursing program.
  • Successful completion of at least one semester or one quarter of clinical nursing courses with letter grades of "B" or GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Provide at least one reference from a clinical instructor.
  • Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
