Job Summary

The Retail Inventory Coordinator is a critical role at COTE Korean Steakhouse - New York, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our retail sales process. This includes producing and packing all consumer-packaged goods intended for retail sale, ordering and receiving operational supplies and raw materials, scheduling deliveries, printing labels, and overseeing the schedule of Retail Prep and Packers based on business volume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check retail orders daily, weekly, and monthly, prepare shipping labels, and send daily sales summaries to team members.
  • Produce and pack consumer-packaged goods for retail sale.
  • Schedule Retail Prep and Packers to support production and packing based on business volume.
  • Train Retail Prep and Packers on kitchen expectations, recipes, quality, and presentation requirements.
  • Conduct regular inventories of operational supplies, ingredients, and packaged goods.
  • Complete product orders, maintaining proper product amounts to limit waste/spoilage.
  • Follow a waste tracking system as directed by Chefs.
  • Inspect food deliveries to ensure high-quality products; do not receive sub-par products.
  • Assist with costing all recipes regularly to achieve consistent profitability.
  • Maintain positive relations with vendors, including interactions with staff.
Requirements
  • Read, speak, understand, follow written directions, and verbal instructions in English.
  • Effective communication skills, reachable by email and phone.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive, results-oriented team-player mentality.
  • Ability to perform job duties well and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and local Department of Health standards.
  • Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain.
  • Flexible schedule availability (weekends, nights, holidays).
  • Good oral communication skills.
  • Proficient knife-handling skills.
  • Culinary Arts degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Korean cuisine preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Spanish language, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $22-$25 USD per hour, depending on experience.
