Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This critical role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks related to inventory, including processing purchase orders, conducting stock level reports, and collaborating with external vendors to maintain high-quality control standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage jewelry sample requests from merchandising and marketing teams to meet their demands efficiently.
  • Oversee the process of selling consignment items, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Track and monitor stock level reports to maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Create and place purchase orders promptly to maintain inventory levels, leveraging advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Track and manage open purchase orders until fulfillment, guaranteeing on-time delivery.
  • Intake and process purchase orders into inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage the sending and receiving of inventory for quality control and screening purposes, upholding the highest standards of quality.
Requirements
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in VLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables, and advanced formatting techniques to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail in all aspects of inventory management, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights, informing strategic business decisions.
  • Excellent Follow-Through: Strong commitment to completing tasks accurately and on time, meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Inventory Experience Preferred: Prior experience in inventory management is highly desirable, demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
  • Luxury Industry Experience Preferred: Experience within the luxury sector, particularly in jewelry, is a significant advantage.
  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as business administration or supply chain management.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$30 per hour, based on industry standards and market rates for similar roles in the New York City area. Final compensation will be determined by experience and qualifications.
