Position Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services within the hospitalist team. This position emphasizes the importance of health promotion and disease prevention while providing care to a diverse patient population, from newborns to the elderly.
- Utilize advanced clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Deliver high-quality healthcare services to individuals and families.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
Education:
NP: Master’s degree in Nursing
PA: Bachelor’s degree in a health or science-related field
Licensure/Certification:
Current licensure as a registered nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the relevant state or as a Physician Assistant. Certification in CPR and ACLS is required.
This role is situated within a supportive hospitalist group that values teamwork and collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess a background in hospital-based care, along with relevant certifications.
Work Schedule:12-hour shifts with a typical rotation of 7 days on and 7 days off. No night shifts or call obligations.
Preferred Experience:Experience as a Physician Assistant, Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Family Nurse Practitioner is highly desirable.
