Job Title: Chief Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to lead our Philanthropy Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising goals
  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to increase revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of development efforts with organizational objectives
  • Manage a portfolio of 50-60 leadership and major gift donors
  • Oversee development staff performance, KPIs, and goal achievement
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of successful fundraising experience
  • Proven ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and produce tangible results
  • Highly skilled in donor development and relationship management
  • Superior presentation and storytelling abilities
  • Driven by goal achievement, with a strong commitment to meeting targets
