Vista Community Clinic is a private, non-profit, multi-specialty outpatient clinic providing high-quality care to the community. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Health Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Connect with parents and caregivers to promote healthy development in children
- Provide basic health information and education on child development to target populations
- Conduct outreach and refer individuals to program activities and clinic services
- Develop and design program flyers and materials
- Participate in health fairs and community events
- Schedule clinic appointments and complete necessary paperwork
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience in community education, child development, health education, and/or community engagement
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Valid California driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Experience with computers, Microsoft Office products, and internet search capabilities
Pay Range: $23.00 DOE
