Join Our Team as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Histotechnologist or Histotechnician to join our team at IDEXX Laboratories. As a key contributor to our histology laboratory, you will play a critical role in preparing veterinary tissue samples for diagnosis.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing veterinary tissue samples for diagnosis
  • Working on one or several of the following benches: Dissection, embedding, microtomy, and special staining
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ year experience working in a histology lab
  • Previous experience with complex tissue dissection is a plus
  • An Associate's, Bachelor's and/or Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
  • ASCP certification preferred
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly wage starting at $27.00 - $35.00/hour based on experience. ASCP HT/HTL licensed candidates with industry experience may be considered for more advanced roles. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time (25 hr/wk) position with scheduled shifts Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 3:00 am. The shifts and hours may vary slightly depending on business needs. Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position.
