Job Description

**Network Integration Engineer, SR**

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Integration Engineer, SR to join our team at Intelligent Waves LLC. As a Network Integration Engineer, SR, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions, configuring and optimizing network components, and monitoring network performance to ensure efficient and secure data transmission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.
  • Configure and optimize network components to ensure efficient and secure data transmission across the organization's LAN, WAN, and other network environments.
  • Monitor network performance, analyze network traffic, and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and maximize network availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network expansion projects, capacity upgrades, and technology migrations.
  • Evaluate and recommend network hardware and software solutions based on industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve network performance, reliability, and security.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve network-related incidents and service requests escalated from the help desk or end-users.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide training to IT staff and end-users on network-related topics, such as network protocols, security measures, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 22 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 18 years of experience, or a Master's Degree and 10 years of experience.
  • Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum Security Plus and other relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA).
  • Must have an active/current passport.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Extensive knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls and STIG implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment and tools from vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
