At Thrive Senior Living, we are seeking a reliable and compassionate Transportation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

About the Job

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to seniors. As a Transportation Assistant, you will be responsible for driving residents to various destinations using our community car and bus. This may include doctor appointments, outings to local restaurants and attractions, and picking up supplies from stores.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive residents to appointments and outings using our community car and bus
  • Pick up supplies from stores as needed
  • Assist the Activity Department with scheduling and coordinating transportation arrangements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license (CDL not required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in terms of scheduling and priorities
