Position: Help Desk Technician

Key Responsibilities:
· Delivering comprehensive technical assistance to staff and advisors, ensuring effective resolution of a variety of issues on the first contact.
· Efficiently managing Helpdesk inquiries to maintain optimal functioning of the technical support team and ensure timely incident resolution.
· Diagnosing and addressing technical challenges while effectively communicating complex technical information to non-technical personnel.
· Committed individual providing tailored support across various aspects of the technology stack, ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism. This role transcends traditional customer service expectations.
Technical Proficiencies:
· Proficient in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 operating systems and browser-related issues.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (2016, 2019, Office 365) and troubleshooting connectivity challenges.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook functionalities and protocols for Microsoft Exchange connectivity.
· Understanding of Active Directory, Azure, and domain-based environments.
· Experience in supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android).
· Competence in troubleshooting TCP/IP networking issues, including peripherals like printers and scanners.
Additional Qualifications:
· At least 3 years of experience in a technical support role.
· Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Microsoft MD-100, or equivalent.
· Experience with networking equipment and software (firewalls, routers, switches, VoIP, VPN) is advantageous.
· Familiarity with Mac systems (macOS Ventura and Sonoma) is a plus.
· Experience in tech services or campus helpdesk environments is beneficial.
