DMG Worldwide Inc. is a reputable accounting firm dedicated to assisting small businesses and entrepreneurs with their financial management and accounting needs. We are currently seeking a meticulous and seasoned Accounting Services Associate to enhance our team.

Role Summary:
The Accounting Services Associate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. This position requires exceptional analytical abilities and the capacity to work autonomously. Responsibilities include managing various accounting functions such as Sales & Use Tax submissions, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. The Associate will also aid senior personnel in the preparation of financial statements and ensure adherence to accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing new business entities with Federal, State, and Local government bodies
  • Handling Sales Tax submissions and reporting
  • Preparing and filing Annual Business Licenses
  • Managing Payroll submissions and reporting
  • Conducting Adhoc reporting and filing tasks
  • Providing Administrative Support

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or 5 years of experience in accounting or similar roles
  • Experience in a Tax, Accounting, or CPA firm is preferred
  • Proficient in tax compliance and research
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and engage with clients effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with solid organizational capabilities
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite 365, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local government agencies

Compensation Package:
Salary Range: $54,000.00 – $60,500.00 per year
