Cashier PT Representative

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cashier PT to join our team at IGA Southeast. As a Cashier PT, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process guest orders accurately and efficiently.
  2. Handle all monies and tenders accurately to ensure proper accounting of transactions.
  3. Properly bag guest orders and follow Floco Foods carryout practices.
  4. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the checkout lanes and surrounding areas.
  6. Direct guests into their designated lanes to maintain a smooth checkout process.
  7. Maintain cash controls and procedures to prevent shrink.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  1. Friendly and outgoing personality.
  2. Ability to work well with others.
  3. Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly.
  4. Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  5. Demonstrates successful use of math skills.
  6. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  7. Effective communication and guest service skills.
  8. Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
  9. Ability to bend and lift to load guest orders into cars.
