Athletic Trainer- Full-Time- Ohio Dayton Area

Job Summary:
The Associate Athletic Trainer will work alongside medical professionals, coaches, and athletes to review medical conditions and develop plans to meet athlete goals. This includes prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply protective devices, such as tape, bandages, and braces, to prevent injuries.
- Recognize and evaluate injuries, providing first aid or emergency care as needed.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for injured athletes and plan comprehensive programs to prevent future injuries.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records and writing reports.
- Maintain communication with internal and external partners regarding athlete progress and Athletico services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree from an Accredited CAATE Program.
- BOC Certification, Licensed and/or registered in accordance with state regulation, CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and a Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Work Environment:
- Work is completed in controlled indoor environments and outdoor settings with exposure to various weather elements.
- Medium level of work-stress is expected due to the nature of the work and responsibility to respond to medical emergencies.
- Some weekend and after business hours work required.
