Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at the University of Maryland Medical System, you will play a critical role in assisting in the diagnosis of disease and/or injury by performing a variety of radiographic procedures under general supervision of departmental supervisor and Radiologist. Your expertise in Computerized Tomography (CT), Mammography, Angiography/Interventional, or Ultrasound (Sonography) will be essential in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic equipment and technology.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.

Requirements:

  • ARRT certification and Maryland licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Must be certified in CT.
  • 1-3 years of CT experience required.
  • BLS required.
