We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing proficient patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation
- Function as a scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and/or invasive procedures
- Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory
- Use knowledge and expertise to act as a role model and resource for other staff
- Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Certified in Basic Life Support
- Current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
