Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Homestead Post Acute.

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing Unit, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and that all nursing staff are properly trained and supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily activities of the nurse unit, including patient care, staff supervision, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in utilization management and work with other departments to optimize patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Provide exceptional patient care.
  • Properly train and educate nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • A current Kentucky RN or LPN license.
  • At least 3 years of nurse management experience.
  • Proven experience in nursing leadership or management.
  • Strong knowledge of SNF.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of nurses and prioritize patient care.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in emergency situations.
