As a FSQA Specialist at Aspire Bakeries, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality across our operations. With 13 bakeries in North America, we are committed to innovation, predicting consumer trends, and exceeding customer expectations.

Your role will involve contributing to the team-oriented FSQA process, conducting vendor approval assessments, desktop audits, collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and filing vendor documentation. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure AIMS requirements are met and the company is audit-ready every day.

In this position, you will demonstrate Aspire's core values by acting with integrity, taking ownership of your work, proactively identifying customer needs, generating creative ideas, and promoting a safe environment for our people and products.

You will verify that all applicable Aspire Bakeries, GFSI, Regulatory, and customer expectations are met regarding vendor approval and management. Additionally, you will ensure that our foods meet Aspire's standards and specifications through the use of qualified vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and post-secondary education in Food Science, Microbiology, or Food Chemistry, or relevant experience in the food industry. They should also possess HACCP, PCQI, and Food Fraud training, as well as 1-2 years of related experience. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, proficiency in MS Outlook & Excel, and SAP knowledge are essential. Good English oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, are required.

This role requires relocation near one of our bakery locations, with a hybrid commute schedule. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
