This position is for a Senior Quality Engineering expert who will independently drive substantial goals within their designated responsibilities. The individual may manage quality engineering methodologies and initiatives, impacting the development, adjustment, application, and upkeep of quality assurance systems and standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, adjusting, and sustaining quality assessment frameworks
  • Offering insights and suggestions for testing and inspection strategies
  • Overseeing nonconformities and design challenges
  • Employing PPAP core elements for risk assessment
  • Guaranteeing compliance with requirements for work transfer and process modification management
  • Collaborating with internal teams to uphold quality benchmarks
  • Formulating proactive quality initiative strategies
  • Conducting root cause investigations and proposing corrective measures
  • Executing product engineering modifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of engineering support experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience
  • U.S. Person status

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean or Six Sigma certification
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Familiarity with APQP/PPAP
