Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Polysomnographer to join our team at St. Luke's University Health Network. As a key member of our sleep disorder team, you will be responsible for performing sleep studies in a technical and efficient manner, scoring sleep studies according to guidelines, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sleep studies in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to departmental policies and guidelines.
  • Set up and operate various sleep study equipment, including nasal CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, End Tidal CO2, Transcutaneous CO2, Home studies, and oxygen.
  • Acquire and score sleep study data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Document patient information and study results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Registered by one of the following: Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT), American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST), National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT-SDS), or another organization accepted by the AASM.
  • Active NJ Polysomnographic Technologist License (for NJ candidates).
  • Successful completion of registered polysomnography sleep tech requirements.
