Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center

Our mission is to offer advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine therapies to the Southern New England region.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with wound care needs.
  • Order and interpret necessary lab tests and imaging studies, ensuring adherence to advanced cardiac life support protocols.
  • Oversee the administration of Hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
  • Coordinate comprehensive care plans, including nursing, nutrition, medications, and wound management.
  • Maintain accurate medical records through detailed documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications

Requirements for Advanced Practitioners
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant, or national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Preferred experience or certification in wound care; training in Hyperbaric Therapy will be provided.
