Position Overview:
The role involves the development, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of operational and capital plans for Carle Health and its subsidiaries. The analyst will engage in long-term financial projects aimed at supporting Executive Management, as well as conducting product line and new service evaluations, providing recommendations to the executive team.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in standard equipment necessary for fulfilling the essential functions of the position.
Skills and Competencies:
Required English Skills: Advanced reading, writing, and oral communication skills. Ability to interact appropriately with customers and colleagues, maintain confidentiality, and communicate factual information effectively.
Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the development of the operational plan for Carle Health, collaborating with administration and directors from various affiliates to ensure timely and accurate completion. Maintain the Strata Jazz Budget System and assist executive management in establishing benchmarks for operational and staffing expenses. Provide guidance and technical support to directors in preparing and documenting plan requests, and analyze these requests for presentation to executive management.
- Coordinate the collection of statistical, financial, and labor hour data, analyzing significant variances from actual performance versus planned outcomes. Generate and distribute various meaningful reports in a timely manner, providing explanations for salary and other variances to be included in financial statements.
- Evaluate staffing efficiency and expense utilization by adjusting the fixed plan based on actual outcomes, reporting results through comprehensive reports. Maintain the Visionware productivity system and provide labor productivity data on a daily, biweekly, and monthly basis.
- Complete the annual long-range financial plan and respond to various internal and external requests for financial information promptly. Update the 5-year plan in alignment with strategic objectives and input from administration, and participate in relevant surveys as required.
