Job Description

Overview:

Goodwood Brewing Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality service standards are met, while maintaining profitability and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members
  • Implement and maintain effective training programs to ensure excellent customer service and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Monitor and control food quality, service standards, and profitability
  • Develop and implement cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including revenue and cost forecasts
  • Write and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including staff, customers, and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a brewery or hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures
