Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist-Surgery Center role at Faith Regional Health Services is a vital part of our healthcare team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the sterile setup for procedures and anticipate the needs of surgeons.
  • Assist with proper care, maintenance, and replacement of surgical instruments.
  • Perform technical aspects of patient care according to established policies and procedures.
  • Initiate appropriate action in crisis and/or emergency situations.
  • Provide patient care under direct supervision of Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from an accredited central supply technology training program within one year of hire.
  • Previous clinical experience and healthcare experience preferred.
