We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Ariba Solutions Specialist to join our team at Terumo Medical Corporation. As a key member of our procurement and supply chain team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying SAP Ariba solutions to meet the business needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and implement SAP Ariba modules, including Sourcing, Contract Management, Commerce Automation, Supplier Risk, Supply Chain Collaboration, and Direct and Indirect Procurement.
  • Develop and maintain standard business process designs, configurations, and test scripts for SAP Ariba modules.
  • Administer Ariba upstream and downstream, and SAP Business Network.
  • Integrate SAP Ariba with backend SAP S/4 HANA systems and other legacy ERP systems using SAP Cloud Integration gateway.
  • Manage integration of SAP, Non-SAP, and Ariba with SAP Business Network.
  • Support Ariba integration with invoicing solutions such as Kofax and OnBase.
  • Work with tax experts to drive tax determination in procurement and invoicing processes using integration of Ariba and SAP with OneSource.
  • Enhance sourcing, contracting, direct and indirect procurement, supplier management, and e-invoicing business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions.
  • Collaborate with other process teams to resolve key integration points between and across processes.
  • Perform fit/gap assessments and finalize functional specifications.
  • Work with consultants/developers to clarify requirements and perform unit testing.
  • Act as the main specialist for design and support authority for the procurement team.
  • Develop and communicate weekly/monthly/quarterly status reports to the Source to Pay Solution Architect.
  • Create clearly defined instructions and structured documentation to track and control project scope.
  • Develop user documentation in cooperation with consultants and core business teams.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Ariba solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba modules and their latest versions.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and configuring SAP Ariba modules, including Sourcing, Contract Management, Commerce Automation, Supplier Risk, Supply Chain Collaboration, and Direct and Indirect Procurement.
  • Deep understanding of direct and indirect procurement and related master data management processes.
  • Deep knowledge of integrating SAP Ariba to backend ERP systems through standard integration connectors like Cloud Integration gateway.
  • Strong knowledge of IDOCs, XML, CXL, and Ariba workflow.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Business Network rules and integration with SAP and Non-SAP ERP systems.
  • Basic understanding of ABAP and debugging ABAP code.
  • Experience working in SAP Ariba, S/4 HANA Procurement, SAP ECC 6.0 Materials Management, SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), and Warehouse Management (WM).
  • Familiarity with SOX and IRM compliance.
  • Keen analytical skills.
  • Keen sense of maturity, judgment, and diligence required to secure company financial interests.
  • Ability to cope with stress and continuously changing demands/priorities.
  • Willingness to learn new skills/techniques/processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in global process design, deployment, and/or support experience utilizing and configuring SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contract Management, Commerce Automation, Supplier Risk, Supply Chain Collaboration, Direct and Indirect Procurement, Supplier Management, and e-Invoicing.
  • Experience with major large, complex multi-country end-to-end SAP transformation programs.
  • Experience with SAP Business Network admin-related tasks.
  • Experience with spend management strategies and/or procurement, sourcing, category management, vendor performance management.
  • Experience in Ariba modules such as Sourcing, Supplier Management, Supplier Risk, Requisition to Invoice process, Ariba Network, and CIG Integration.
  • Experience in Medical Device/Life Sciences Industry is preferable.
