Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Instruction: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance student learning.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing timely feedback and support to help students improve.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavioral issues, collaborating with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for learning and commitment to student development
  • Ability to work in person in New York City

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Rigorous and relevant academic major (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering)
