Supply Chain Operations Professional

As a Supply Chain Operations Professional at Land O'Lakes, you will have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to our Supply Chain organization and leadership team. You will be responsible for evaluating and driving performance improvements, working with cross-functional teams, and receiving both technical and leadership training to enhance your skillsets.
Areas of Internship OpportunitiesOur Supply Chain organization is comprised of several key areas, including:
- Logistics: Driven by customer demands, our Logistics team creates value by effectively managing the transformation of raw materials into safe, quality, finished products, and by coordinating complex planning and distribution to ensure that products are delivered when and where the customer desires.
- Quality: Quality is foundational to Land O'Lakes and is a core value to all aspects of our company. We are committed to consistently providing safe, high quality, wholesome products that consumers both trust and value.
- Manufacturing: At the hub of Supply Chain and Operations organization, our Manufacturing team is the critical link to safely producing the highest quality dairy food products for consumers, crop protection and crop input products, and lifestyle and livestock feed for animals.
- Sourcing & Ingredient Merchandising: Overseeing eleven billion in annual transactions, our Ingredient Merchandising and Sourcing team works with thousands of suppliers worldwide, purchasing every product, service or ingredient needed to bring our diverse portfolio of agriculture, feed and dairy foods products to market.
- Environmental Health and Safety: Our Environment, Health and Safety team works with each Business unit to ensure compliance with all applicable EPA, OSHA and DOT regulations, and works with each business unit on risk management.
We are seeking undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Operations, Agriculture, Ag Econ, Engineering, or a related discipline who are looking to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Preferred qualifications include prior internship or coop experience, preferably in a related industry, strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving, demonstrated leadership skills, decision making and analytical skills, and attention to detail.
