Job Summary:

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Patient Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in connecting uninsured hospital patients with programs that will cover their medical expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen uninsured hospital patients to determine eligibility for federal, state, and county medical or disability assistance programs.
  • Complete and submit applications for patients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients receive timely and effective support.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff, case managers, social workers, and financial counselors to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage patient accounts, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Communicate with patients, government agencies, and healthcare providers to facilitate enrollment and renewal processes.
  • Assist patients in gathering necessary documentation, arranging transportation, and requesting home visits as needed.
  • Inform patients of approval or denial of coverage in a timely and compassionate manner.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior hospital experience is a plus.
  • Adaptability and critical thinking skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
