Job Title: Blender Operator

Volt is seeking a skilled Blender Operator to join our team in Riverside, CA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to operate cook kettles, monitor fill operations, and maintain efficient machinery operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, batch processing, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cook kettles using standard formulas to prepare food products.
  • Monitor and maintain fill operations to meet BRC program standards.
  • Maintain efficient operation of machinery and support batching and closure processes.
  • Process recipes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and read recipes, understand ingredients, batch temperatures, quality testing, and product characteristics.
  • Perform quality control testing on finished batches.
  • Make necessary adjustments to achieve proper levels of viscosity, taste, pH, and color.
  • Load mixers with the correct weight for each recipe batch.
  • Monitor product quality by maintaining required temperature check logs.
  • Inventory check throughout the shift.
  • Sanitize machines and batching area.
  • Follow all plant safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years' experience as a Batcher/Blender in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 years of working experience in a food manufacturing plant.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Benefits:

Volt offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00-$26.00 per hour, as well as benefits including health, dental, vision, term life, short-term disability, AD&D, 401(k), sick time, and other types of paid leaves.
