Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Physician to join our interdisciplinary team at Providence Home Hospice in Oregon. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert medical care and leadership to patients and families in need of hospice services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary oversight for one of five IDTs in the Portland Metro area, including our service areas in the Gorge and Clark County, WA
  • Work as a member of a provider team consisting of HPM trained physicians and Nurse Practitioners and serve as a back-up to the Hospice Medical Director
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in their homes, hospitals, and other settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospice policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) or a related field
  • Current medical licensure in the state of Oregon
  • Experience working in hospice care or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
