Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgical staff members in preparing patients for procedures, ensuring optimal care and adherence to national patient safety goals.
  • Participate in case preparation, draping patients, instrument counts, and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available and in proper working order.
  • Anticipate and assist with surgical steps during procedures, demonstrating a proactive and responsible approach to patient care.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
  • Preferred but not required: surgical technologist certification.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a consistent, responsible work history.
