Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current or former consumer of mental health services.
  • Willingness to obtain Peer Specialist Certification from the relevant state department.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Working Conditions: This role involves working in various environments, including outpatient centers, community settings, and clients' homes. The position may involve exposure to unpredictable situations and requires effective communication and interaction skills. Physical capabilities include the ability to lift up to fifty pounds and navigate stairs as needed.
