Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Receiving Specialist to join our team at Select-A-Vision. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of merchandise, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload trucks and verify shipments in a timely manner
  • Inspect goods for quality and accuracy, and prepare them for put-away
  • Assist in replenishments to active pick areas from bulk storage
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and report any issues to the manager
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations
  • Perform cycle counts and assist in bi-yearly physical inventory
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in inventory, distribution, and operational processes
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team setting
  • Physical requirements include lifting 35lb boxes and standing for 75% of working time
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit for 50% of applicable work time
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items (up to 100% of applicable work time)
  • Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds for 50% of applicable work time
