Job Overview:

The role involves ensuring a clean and safe environment within educational and community facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all assigned areas.
  • Perform regular cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom upkeep.
  • Execute floor care procedures such as waxing and operate cleaning machinery as required.
  • Report directly to the Facilities Manager regarding maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
  • Capable of using various cleaning tools and equipment effectively.
  • Conduct minor repairs on cleaning equipment and maintain furniture and fixtures.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas as necessary.
  • Prepare meeting spaces for events based on provided guidelines.
  • Complete all assigned cleaning and maintenance duties efficiently.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • All candidates must pass a background check and comply with the Code of Conduct and training requirements.
