Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducts routine member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with accuracy.
  2. Reviews checks for proper endorsements and verifies essential details, including identification and legality.
  3. Handles transactions related to term share deposits and retirement savings plans.
  4. Counts and prepares currency, coins, and checks for deposit or shipment.
  5. Processes requests for checks and debit/credit cards for members.
  6. Facilitates account maintenance and assists members in modifying their services.
  7. Opens and closes accounts as per member requests.
  8. Records all transactions in accordance with organizational policies.
  9. Balances cash and check transactions at the end of each day.
  10. Maintains appropriate cash levels and adheres to cash control procedures.
  11. Stays informed about the organization's products and services to effectively cross-sell.
  12. Provides assistance to team members in resolving member issues and complaints.
  13. Maintains composure and professionalism in challenging situations.
  14. Exhibits a positive attitude and strong commitment to service excellence.
  15. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
  16. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills to address member concerns.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
