Cortland Dental & Braces - a Benevis company

We are seeking an experienced Patient Coordinator to join our team at Cortland Dental and Braces, a Benevis company. As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional patient care by greeting parents and patients, verifying insurance eligibility, and ensuring service limits are recorded and communicated with the clinical team.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk area, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and families.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Team Leaders and Doctors to provide same-day care to patients and assist with meeting office financial targets by ensuring schedules are full.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments, answer incoming calls, and direct callers to the proper person or take messages as needed.
  • Ensure all patient records are re-filed at the end of the day and make outbound calls to confirm appointments, reschedule patients, and call patients who require treatment completion.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; office experience in a dentist's or physician's office preferred.
  • Experience working with children's dentistry is a plus, but not required.
  • Bilingual skills are a bonus but not necessary.
