Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Investigation Case Aide to join our team at the State of New Mexico. As a key member of our investigation team, you will provide critical support to caseworkers in gathering collateral information, contacting collateral supports, and documenting case records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support caseworkers with activities such as contacting collateral's, setting up services and appointments, supervising visits, searching for relatives, tracking down records, tracking meetings, and scheduling meetings.
  • Document case information in FACTS for caseworkers.
  • Develop and implement safety plans for children, youth, and families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss case plans and outcomes.
  • Identify, provide, and/or arrange timely assessments/evaluations/interviews for clients.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience as a social or community coordinator and/or social worker assistant.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, and reaching may be required.

Employment Requirements:

Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results. Must possess and maintain a current and valid Driver's License.
