Project Responsibilities:
The Aeronautical Safety Office is responsible for delivering global aeronautical geospatial intelligence to support national security goals, including safety of navigation, international commitments, and joint military operations. This role involves preparing, compiling, publishing, distributing, and maintaining all relevant Aeronautical GEOINT databases, products, and services as required by U.S. law and International Treaties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating project performance across the organization and providing comprehensive recommendations to the Government.
- Offering expertise and guidance to plan, manage, and execute programs and projects effectively.
- Delivering advanced and objective insights into program issues, execution risks, and corrective measures.
- Drafting, reviewing, and publishing program reports as mandated by statutes and regulations.
- Participating in program management and business management reviews, providing constructive feedback to the Government.
- Supporting programmatic activities with development contractors.
- Reviewing and revising management and governance policies, instructions, standards, and best practices.
- Developing tailored contract oversight and scope verification activities in line with NGA program and financial management policies.
- Participating in NGA planning activities with Mission Partners and development contractor-sponsored Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups.
- Creating and updating project business plans, advocacy briefings, and project schedules in accordance with agency policy.
- Coordinating Project Plans and project approval documentation.
Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI)
- Citizenship: US Citizenship required
- Proven experience in managing specific task orders and ensuring timely implementation of technical solutions and schedules.
- Experience in enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interfacing with other functional systems.
- Ability to analyze new and complex project-related challenges and develop innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
