Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to and convey our philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
Receive and give report from the previous shift.
Review assignments with your designated supervisor.
Read staff communication records and maintain familiarity with resident records as required.
Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADL's, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.

Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.

Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate them to all established policies and procedures.
Record resident information as required.
Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency protocols.

Requirements:
Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program with current licensure.
At least 6 months of experience in a similar position.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Education:
Attend mandatory in-service training.
Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
