POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide direct patient care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for patients.

Essential Functions Statement(s)


Assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, and positioning in and out of bed, chair.

Assists with patients' recreation programs.

Prepares patients for meals and snacks, assists patient in eating where needed, and records food intake.

Reads and follows daily care plans.

Reports changes in patient condition to nurse in charge.

Documents care provision on patient record/flow sheets as required and reports accidents and incidents.

Provides nursing functions as directed by licensed nurse, supervisor or manager.

Understands, complies with, and promotes all rules regarding patient rights.

Promotes positive relationships with residents, visitors, and government regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude.

Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.

Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of Community Healthcare System in all activities.

On-going compliance with Community Healthcare System educational requirements.

All other duties as required.
