- Location: Warminster, PA
- 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM - 7 AM
- Direct hire opportunity
- Compensation: $20-22/hour
Key Responsibilities of the Equipment Technician I:
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, including injuries and property damage.
- Utilize safe work practices, including lifting techniques and confined space entry; ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections; troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Effectively use hand tools for maintenance, setup, and repair of equipment; adjust mechanical components using hand and machine tools.
- Quickly identify issues and perform necessary repairs; escalate complex problems as needed.
- Set up, maintain, adjust, and troubleshoot all production machinery.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Document all mechanical activities thoroughly.
- Assist in training new mechanics on equipment setup and operation when required.
- Adhere to all company policies, regulations, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment throughout the shift.
Qualifications for the Equipment Technician I Role:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment.
- Prior experience with printing or direct mail machinery is preferred.
- Training in lean manufacturing and/or quality control is advantageous.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English, along with understanding oral and written instructions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute job setup instructions.
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
