Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dedicated team at United Hospital. This role involves performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac and peripheral vascular domains.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required as applicable.
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is necessary as applicable.
  • ARRT: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification is required as applicable.
Job Responsibilities
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role is required.
  • First-timers: New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Weekend Availability: Required to be on-call for 3-4 weekends during the contract period.
  • On-call Duties: Must be available for 3-4 weekend shifts and one overnight call during weekdays.
  • Floating Requirements: No floating to other facilities is expected.
  • Block Scheduling: Not available for this position.
  • Local Candidates: Local applicants are encouraged to apply.
  • Pending Licenses: Candidates with pending state licenses will be considered.
  • RTO Restrictions: Ideally, no more than 5 days off.
  • Guaranteed Hours: The client reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty.
  • On-call Hours: These do not contribute to the guaranteed minimum hours.
  • Special Skills: Experience in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles is essential.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic and MacLab/Cardiolab systems is advantageous.
Work Schedule
  • Shift Details: Specific shift details will be provided upon hiring.
  • Daily Caseload: Expect to manage a caseload of 16-24 patients per day.
Unit Information
  • Specialty: This position is within the Radiology/Cardiology specialty.
  • Focus: The primary focus will be on cardiovascular and vascular procedures.

  • RTO Restrictions: Ideally, no more than 5 days off.
  • Scrub Color: Provided by the unit.
