Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at California Medical Business Services. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic examinations, interpreting images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques to capture accurate images and data.
  • Interpret images and provide diagnostic reports to radiologists and referring physicians.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound procedures, protocols, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements
  • Two years of vascular ultrasound experience (preferred)
  • RDMS (not SPI) certification (required)
  • RVT certification (preferred)
  • Fully licensed to perform US exams based on the certified specialty or specialties with up to date credentialing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with people in a friendly, courteous, timely, and thorough manner regardless of the situation
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
  • High level of organizational skills, integrity, and accuracy
  • Must be a self-starter with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be skilled and highly proficient using: PC computer, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Familiarity with PACS systems - DR Systems preferred
  • Basic understanding of ICD10 and CPT codes
  • Basic understanding of health insurances, both Commercial and Managed Care
  • Familiarity with ACR guidelines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Willing to cross train for other areas
  • Advanced computer skills a plus such as knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
Work Environment

The employee may be exposed to radiation, blood/body fluids and/or infectious disease. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
