Englewood Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join our oncology team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical care to patients undergoing treatment for various types of cancer. Your role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and planning health promotion and preventive care, as well as prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments according to established joint nursing/medical protocols. You will also be involved in education, research, and consultation activities to improve the quality of care across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including symptom management and education related to treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
