Key Responsibilities:
  • Administers and executes various human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary actions, dispute resolution, performance and talent management, employee recognition, occupational health and safety, and training initiatives.
  • Facilitates new hire orientation and oversees pre-employment and offboarding processes.
  • Proposes innovative procedures and policies aimed at enhancing employee experience and improving the efficiency of the HR department and the organization.
  • Contributes to the development and documentation of HR policies, procedures, forms, memos, templates, and correspondence.
  • Promotes positive employee relations through recognition and appreciation initiatives.
  • Addresses employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provides guidance and interpretation of HR policies.
  • Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies and practices to maintain adherence.
  • Stays informed on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; SHRM certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on ethics and cultural sensitivity.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities and comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team to support the overall HR function.
  • Familiarity with national employment laws and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with a resourceful mindset.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

As an HR Generalist, you will engage in various human resources functions throughout the employee life cycle, including Onboarding, Inclusion and Diversity, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, and Performance Management. The ideal candidate is proactive, perceptive, and approachable, capable of executing HR responsibilities at a professional level while collaborating closely with HR management to support the organization.
