This is a critical role that will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Program Development: Provide strategic direction and oversight for the EHS program, including the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company standards and policies. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and near-misses, and develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees are aware of and understand EHS policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the EHS department and other business units, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent education credentials in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or other relevant technical or engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in either the Environmental Health or Safety fields.
  • Skills: Basic proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to manage large databases.
