Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Senior Helpers. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, medication reminders, and other essential tasks.

Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences. You will provide personalized care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming
  • Providing medication reminders and administration
  • Monitoring and planning diets
  • Assisting with walking and mobility
  • Providing companion care, personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Assisting with Alzheimer's, dementia, and Parkinson's care
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in caregiving or a related field
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Auto insurance and a dependable vehicle
  • A cell phone for communication
  • Be at least 19 years old
  • Be able to travel up to 30 miles to reach clients
Availability:

We require our CNAs to work a minimum of 4 hours per day, Monday through Thursday. Every other weekend, you will work 8 hours per day. PRN positions are also available, requiring 1 weekend per month, at least 20 hours per month, and weekly scheduling calls.
