Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at University Hospitals. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and efficient patient care in a primary scrub position.
  • Assist with technical responsibilities in assigned operative procedures.
  • Ensure that all necessary instruments and supplies are present and in proper working condition.
  • Provide labeled medications with correct doses on the sterile field.
  • Participate in the quality improvement process and actively contribute to the development of our team.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Thorough knowledge of asepsis, instrumentation, suture, and surgical procedures.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient care needs and prescribed medical therapies.
