Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at The Harpeth Hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel. As a Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms, and set up cleaning carts with supplies to enhance efficiency and ease of cleaning rooms.
  • Clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in rooms, public areas, and hallways, using ladders or stools to clean hard-to-reach areas.
  • Wash all hard floor areas, dust and polish all furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings, and remove dust and cobwebs from vents and ceiling corners.
  • Inspect all door and window locks to ensure they are in working order and immediately alert management to any unsecured or unsafe situations.
  • Inspect all room equipment to ensure proper working order and report any deficiencies to the Executive Housekeeper for prompt repair or resolution.
  • Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and supplies at all times to protect and preserve hotel property.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
