Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled bookkeeper to join our accounting team at the Hearing and Speech Center of Florida. As a full-charge bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, working with budgets, and understanding allocation funding.

The successful candidate will have experience in QuickBooks (desktop) and possess strong financial management skills. You will work closely with the senior accounting team and provide support to program staff, grant projects, and various county funds.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Perform daily accounting procedures, including Ledger reconciliation, Banks reconciliation, and Ledgers journal entries
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including Trial Balance, Financial Statements, and Budget
  • Implement financial controls and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with program staff, grant projects, and county funds to achieve organizational goals
Compensation and Benefits
